Remember to avoid traveling on Sequoia Drive during the time that workers are there. This is for your safety and theirs. And, of course, we don’t want to impede progress!.

Bob Colasanti can still be found around the work site and he is happy to try to answer any questions you may have. You can also contact any board member or Ameri-Tech for help.

TO ALL RESIDENTS OF VILLAGE ON THE GREEN

The Recreation Board of Directors at their 3/22/2021 meeting made the decision to reopen the pool to guests of the residents effective May 1, 2021. During the month of April, we will be getting the pool ready by having all the pool furniture cleaned and sanitized. Residents are reminded that they are directly responsible for the behavior of their guests at all times and that it is their responsibility to see that their guests are aware of all the pool rules and regulations.

Children under 16 years of age may only use the pool between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and noon and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This is our number one violation of the pool rules and regulations.

Water exercise classes will resume on May 3, 2021. The classes will be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00 a.m.

The clubhouse remains closed for all scheduled activities and the renting out of the clubhouse.

The Board thanks everyone for their patience and cooperation over the past year.

John Stover, President
Recreational Association

Notice

As we leave 2020 and enter into 2021 nothing has changed concerning the Board’s decision not to have any scheduled events or the renting out of the clubhouse. With the new vaccine coming out and starting to be distributed in Pinellas County on January the 4th the Board will be looking at the Pinellas County Health Department and the CDC for their guidelines and recommendations. Adjustments to the Board’s June 1st, 2020 decision will come when the Board feels they can be safely reinstated.
- There will be no newsletter published in January or February.
- The annual Tampa Bay Downs outing will not be held this year.
- The holding of the Annual Community Yard Sale normally held at the end of March is on hold at this time and will be reviewed at the Board’s January 25th meeting.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this ever evolving event we have been going through.

John Stover: President of the Recreation Board of Directors

06/01/2020

NOTICE TO ALL VILLAGE ON THE GREEN RESIDENTS

The Pinellas County Commissioners voted to allow all HOAs to open their pools to full capacity. Our pool capacity is thirty individuals including those in the pool and on the deck combined. The pool furniture will remain at six feet apart following the CDC guidelines. The Board of Directors has decided the pool will remain open to Residents Only. This means that No Guests will be allowed, which includes both adults and children, until the CDC relaxes or removes its social distancing guidelines.

Mandatory daily cleaning of the pool furniture is no longer required but towels and disinfectant will be made available to pool users. They are located in a marked area by the rear double door entrance to the clubhouse.

Thank you.

- John Stover: President of the VOG Recreational Association Board of Directors

Pool Reopening 5/1/2020

To All VOG Residents:
The pool will reopen 5/1/2020. The resolution states “the number of patrons in and around the pool area must not exceed 50% of your bathing load “. Our pool capacity is 30. The total residents allowed inside the pool area both in the pool and deck will be 15 people. This requirement is why we are allowing ONLY the RESIDENTS of Village on the Green to use the pool. This means NO GUESTS will be allowed. This includes both adults and children. With the reduced capacity requirements we believe that the residents should be able to enjoy the pool. People violating this mandate will be asked to leave. This will remain in effect until we are allowed to open at full capacity. We plan on stacking some of the pool furniture in the Leni area and marking it do not use. This will insure the social distancing requirement of six feet between residents excluding family members and will reduce the pool furniture that needs daily cleaning. We have individuals who have volunteered to wipe the furniture down with disinfect. The resolution also states “You are not required to open your pool. That decision is up to you and your members” and “ Pinellas County Sherriff’s deputies as well as local law enforcement officers will verify compliance throughout the county “. We ask everyone to follow these temporary rules so all residents can enjoy the pool.
- John Stover: President of the Recreation Board
